ReLaunch 3D Continues Sunday Nights at 6:00

Join us Sunday evening at 6:00 to discuss the public relaunch of our church’s ministry in our community. Another exciting outreach opportunity is coming: Hometown Christmas (Nov. 24). We’ll meet in the fellowship hall for discussion and refreshments.

Women’s Bible Study Continues Thursday

Come this Thursday at 7:00 for Mercy Truimphs, Beth Moore Bible study on the Book of James. Interested but haven’t come before? Drop in any week for the video segment. Each stands alone from previous discussions and homework. See Sarah Fletcher for more information.

Christmas Food Drive Begins

The Johnston City Ministerial Alliance will begin registration November 26 for Christmas food boxes. Our church will provide the following items: instant potatoes, gravy mix, cake mixes, frosting, Jello, stuffing mix, canned corn, and canned green beans. Put donated items in the box in the foyer beginning next Sunday.

Community Thanksgiving Service Nov. 18

The Ministerial Alliance will hold its annual Thanksgiving Community Service next Sunday (Nov. 18), 6:00 pm at Washington Avenue Baptist Church, 9th and Washington. Father Brian Barker will speak. A pie fellowship will be held after service

God Blessed Our Spring Break VBS

We thank God for leading almost 80 kids and volunteers from 10 local churches down the “Resurrection Road” at a community Vacation Bible School during Spring Break, March 26-28. Thank you for your prayers and participation! Samuel Abney, web contractor for the JC Ministerial Alliance, has produced a VBS highlights video. We hope you enjoy it.

Community Palm Sunday Service

The Community Palm Sunday Service sponsored by the Johnston City Ministerial Alliance, will be held Sunday night, March 25, 6:00 pm at the First Christian Church. Gaylon Stewart, pastor of Heritage Fellowship (Church of God of Prophecy) will speak.
