2018 Theme: All Things New

Revelation 21:5 says, “And he [Christ] who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ ” This verse is the basis for this year’s annual theme: “All Things New.” On December 31, 2017, our pastor began a series of sermons on this theme. Expect to see new things happening at our church in the near future. We already changed the name of our church. We no longer call ourselves “First Free Will Baptist Church of Johnston City.” Instead, we put Christ and our community first instead of ourselves, so just call us “Johnston City Free Will Baptist Church” or “JCity Church” for short. In other changes, REACH (our Wednesday night discipleship ministry) has an updated format and we are working on a brand new church website. Expect to see more photos and videos on the web and Facebook. We are here to serve you and our community. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do for you.   Please follow and like us: Read More
