Prepare Now for WMO

We will receive our World Missions Offering (WMO) Sunday morning, April 29. If you are a part of our church or attend another Free Will Baptist church, please begin praying about what the Lord would have you to give, over and above your regular tithes and offerings. We have coin banks available to collect your spare change between now and then as a painless way to supplement your offering.

The World Missions Offering (WMO) is one means of funding the purpose of the Mission— planting churches overseas. The National Association of Free Will Baptists has designated the last Sunday in April for churches across the denomination to receive a significant offering for International Missions.

Teague Appreciation Sunday

Dennis and Carol Teague were our guests August 13, “Teague Appreciation Sunday.” We presented them a certificate of appreciation recognizing almost four decades of service in France, along with a card and love offering. They were guests of honor at a fellowship lunch following the service. Our church has supported the Teagues since the beginning of their ministry, during which time they have planted two churches in France. Forty-four years ago, Brother George Ritter married Dennis and Carol when Carol was just a teenager. When they arrived in France, she was only 22 years old.

World Missions Offering, April 30

We will receive a special offering for world missions April 3o during our morning worship service. We invite you to collect your spare change in coin banks (available in the foyer) in addition to making a sacrificial gift on that Sunday. Monies received through the “traveling basket” will also go toward this offering.

Traveling Basket for WAC Missions Offering

In an effort to raise funds for I-GO (Illinois missions), our women are sponsoring a traveling basket. Each week, look in the basket for a new item (food, craft, etc.) available for a donation. Place your donation in the missions bank in the foyer, then either take the basket “traveling” to your home and return it with a new item the next Sunday, or simply leave the basket in the foyer for someone else to fill.
