Prepare Now for WMO

We will receive our World Missions Offering (WMO) Sunday morning, April 29. If you are a part of our church or attend another Free Will Baptist church, please begin praying about what the Lord would have you to give, over and above your regular tithes and offerings. We have coin banks available to collect your spare change between now and then as a painless way to supplement your offering.

The World Missions Offering (WMO) is one means of funding the purpose of the Mission— planting churches overseas. The National Association of Free Will Baptists has designated the last Sunday in April for churches across the denomination to receive a significant offering for International Missions.

Resurrection Road VBS Begins Monday

Our church will host a community Vacation Bible School during Spring Break, March 26-28. The activities will begin with supper at 5:30 and sessions are 6:00-8:30. The theme is “Resurrection Road.” Bus transportation will be available. Please call 618-983-5254 if you need a ride. We still have room for more students.

Seder (Passover) Supper Rescheduled

Our Seder (Passover) Supper previously planned for Good Friday has been rescheduled. You are invited to a Seder for the whole family Friday, April 6, 6:30pm. A Seder is a celebration of the Jewish Passover as Christ as His disciples did before His crucifixion.

This is a family event. Parents, grandparents, and children are encouraged to participate. If you plan to attend our church’s seder on Friday night, please RSVP by phone, text, or email. You may provide food for the meal if you wish, but some dishes are more appropriate at a Seder meal than others. Please contact Marta Phillips or Sarah Fletcher for suggestions.
