You and your kids are always welcome at our church on Sunday mornings for Sunday school and worship. If it’s been a while since you’ve been to church (or maybe you’ve never attended), we’d love for you to join us on National Back to Church Sunday, September 16. If you come, you’ll be in good company. Our church is one of thousands from over 120 denominations expected to participate in this annual celebration. Our worship service begins at 10:30 that morning. After service, we’ll hand out a delicious but simple box lunch. You are welcome to stay and eat with us in our picnic area (weather permitting) or take the lunch home with you to enjoy with your family.
This year’s Back to Church Sunday theme is “You Belong Here,” based on Romans 15:7. The fact is that 75% of Americans admit to feeling deep loneliness. In addition, the number of Americans with no close friends has tripled since 1985. That’s why we are here – for people to get plugged in, form friendships, and have the chance to serve together in the community.
We’ll also have a picnic box lunch immediately following our service to help visitors and members get to know each other, and it will be a blast! There’s something for everyone: live music, games, give aways, and more.
This is the perfect opportunity to invite your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers to join you and grow deeper in their faith, or perhaps encounter God for the first time.
