Advisory Board To Meet Tuesday Night

The Advisory Board (deacons, trustees, church officers, and program directors) will meet Tuesday night at 7:00. They will be working on a revision of the church budget for the coming year.

See You At the Pole

All middle school and high school students are encouraged to gather around the flag pole at their school this Wednesday morning at 7:00 pm as part of the national movement of student believers called “See You at the Pole.” Adults and younger children are encouraged to meet at the high school for a prayer gathering Tuesday evening at 6:30 to pray for our community, its schools, and our students.

REACH Meets Again This Wednesday

We have restarted our Wednesday night student ministry. Supper is served from 6:30-6:55 and worship and teaching begin at 7:00. We have groups for all ages including adults so we hope to see you there.

5th Sunday Community Sing, Next Sunday Night

Heritage Fellowship (Church of God of Prophecy) at 12th and Pine will host the Fifth Sunday Night Community Sing next Sunday night, (September 30) at 6:00 pm. We’d like to provide some of the special music that evening so let Doug Hancock know if you can help. Everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments (finger foods) will be served afterward.

Women’s Bible Study Starts Oct. 4

We are starting a women’s Bible study using Beth Moore’s book and video on the Book of James. This study will start Thursday evening, October 4. Please see me after service if you would like more information or write a note on a connection card and turn it in.

What the Bible Says About Mental Health

Our pastor will begin a Wednesday night Bible study called “Troubled Minds.” This study is especially for those who suffer with or live with someone who has a mental illness. We will begin October 3 at 7:30. Please see the pastor after service or write a note on a connection card or response form.
